ULM Brings P2MW Kickass Arena Contingent to Win 1st Runner-up at KMI Expo 2024
Kendari – Still in the 2024 Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship Expo (KMI Expo), Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) through the Physical Education Study Program students who are members of the Team funded by the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW), namely Kickass Arena, managed to win 1st Runner-up for the Services, Tourism, and Trade (Growth Stage) category at Halu Oleo University, Kendari.
Kickass Arena is a business engaged in the field of fitness class services that provides paid classes and studios located at Jalan Belitung No.20 Banjarmasin. In addition to providing fitness services in its studio, Kickass Arena also provides Take Home fitness classes by providing trainers and equipment that are brought to the house so that it is easier for customers to still get fitness facilities without having to leave the house. Totaling 4 core coaches, Kickass Arena also collaborates with 2 certified coaches and 5 volunteers who are also students of the Physical Education Study Program itself.
The team, accompanied by Lazuardi Akbar Fauzan, S.Pd., M.Pd as a supervising lecturer, consists of 4 students of the Physical Education Study Program, namely Muhammad Roid Abror, Muhammad Bagus Pratama, Melinda Fitri, and Norshifa Wardanih. In addition to providing studio and coaching services, Kickass Arena also provides health consultation services for its customers.
The Head of the Kickass Arena Team, Muhammad Roid Abror, in his interview expressed his gratitude and happiness to be involved in the 2024 KMI Expo activities. He is also grateful to receive full support from Belmawa for the realization of their efforts.
“Alhamdulillah for now it is beyond prediction, it has come that far, it really appreciates from Belmawa Kemendikbud that student efforts like this can be developed and supported with assistance and financial support through competitions like this,” he said.
He added that after the KMI Expo activity is over, Kickass Arena will continue to be present to continue providing fitness services to the community.
“This is because even though the competition is over, the business must continue, because what is called sustainability and continuity so that Kickass Arena can continue,” he added.
Moreover, now, Kickass Arena is increasingly developing its existence by establishing a partnership with My Dream Workout Center. Kickass Arena carries out a contract at My Dream Workout Center by providing trainer/coach services that also have classes at that location.
