FGD on Institutional Governance and Strengthening MBKM Management Functions
Banjarmasin – In order to support the management of the implementation of MBKM for all study programs at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), ULM Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr. M.Kes., Sp.F., S.H invited all office holders within ULM. The invitation invited them to attend the Forum Group Discussion (FGD) Activity 6.1 with the theme “Institutional Arrangement and Strengthening the Management Function of MBKM”. The FGD is a series of activities from the 2024 ULM Independent Campus Competition (PKMM) Program and was held on Monday (3/6/2024).
The activity which was carried out in the Rectorate Senate meeting room was attended by Prof. Dr. Suratno, M.Pd as ULM MBKM Coordinator, Dean, Vice Rector, Head of Institution, Head of UPA within ULM.
This activity aims to support the success of the MBKM program which is still being implemented at ULM. Dr. Iwan further conveyed the importance of cooperation from all parties to be able to run the MBKM program optimally.One important effort to make is to equalize perceptions so that they can have the same concept.
“So we need an approach to equalize the policies of each institution, which we have rights to which we commit,” he said
This was also confirmed by the ULM MBKM Coordinator who also said that teamwork is the key to success, especially in the success of this program.
“This will not work if you don’t do your best,” he added.
On the other hand, the ULM MBKM Coordinator also mentioned that the issue related to the absence of sotk ​​from the MBKM program was also one of the main discussions. He suggested that the proposal to determine MBKM should be implemented immediately. So, the regulatory components and implementation mechanisms can be implemented as clearly as possible.
“MBKM does not yet have an SOTK, how the components of the regulations and implementation must be determined, we propose how to organize this MBKM in the future,” he added.
