41 Pharmacists Take Part in Class XIV Pharmacist Oath Taking
Banjarbaru – The Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held the Class XIV Pharmacist Oath Taking at the Roditha Hotel Banjarbaru on Friday (26/4/2024). This event was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr. M.Kes., Sp.F., S.H., and representative of the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Service Muhammad Rizal, S.K.M., MM.
A total of 41 new pharmacists were inaugurated and took the oath at this event. The following is a list of the new pharmacists:

On this occasion, Dr. Iwan Aflanie as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs gave a speech to the new pharmacists. He said that completing their professional studies as pharmacists was not the end, but a new beginning as professional health workers.
“Our graduates are ready to work, our pharmacists are people who are fully competent and the superior accreditation of the academic pharmacist study program and the professional pharmacist study program can guarantee their excellence and we will respond if we can,” he said in his speech.
Muhammad Rizal as a representative from the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office also expressed his congratulations and hopes to the new pharmacists. “Hopefully, with the appointment of pharmacists from ULM, ULM’s contribution to nation and state development will increase,” he said.
Pharmacists are a profession and also an important pillar in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as professional health workers. Dr. Iwan also reminded new pharmacists not to stop learning and working so they can continue to follow and develop with the times.
