118th Graduation Ceremony of Lambung Mangkurat University: Inaugurates 941 Graduates
Banjarbaru – The Senate of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) again held an open session with the agenda for the graduation of the 118th Diploma, Bachelor, Masters, Specialist and Doctoral Program graduates. Graduation 118 is the third graduation to be held in 2024 and was held at the ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium on Wednesday (24/2/2024).
On this graduation occasion, ULM confirmed 941 graduates, consisting of 6 people from the Diploma Program, 694 people from the Bachelor Program, 185 people from the Professional Education Program, 51 people from the Masters Program, 2 people from the Specialist Program, and 3 Doctoral Programs. Details of the number of graduates were conveyed by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at ULM, Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr. M.Kes., Sp.F., S.H. He also announced the 14 best 118 graduates from each ULM faculty, including:
- Yusuf Basri, S.Pd., graduate of the Science Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education with a GPA of 3.94
- Fayza Noor Anisa, S.H., graduate of the Legal Studies Program, Faculty of Law, with a GPA of 3.93
- Ayu Fitriani, S.E., graduate of the Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business with a GPA of 3.94
- Muh Zhaldi Putra Fahrizal, S.I.P., graduate of the Government Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences with a GPA of 3.91
- Lia Rachmawati, S.P., graduated from the Agroecotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, with a GPA of 3.80
- Haikal Aranda Nurdiansyah, S.Hut., graduate of the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry with a GPA of 3.74
- Emmyliya Sagita, S.Pi., graduate of the Fisheries Socioeconomic Study Program, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences with a GPA of 3.93
- Fatmawarni, S.Ars., graduated from the Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, with a GPA of 3.81
- Minna Salsabila, S.K.M., graduate of the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences with a GPA of 3.79
- Gusti Muhammad Rosyadi, S.Mat., graduate of the Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with a GPA of 3.94
- Muhammad Karunia, Ns., graduate of the Nursing Professional Education Program with a GPA of 4.00
- Jumria Tandi Panggalo, Sp.PD., graduate of the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program with a GPA of 3.85
- Nurul Izzati, M.E., graduated from the Development Studies Masters Program with a GPA of 4.00
- Erwin Dafis Nasution, graduate of the Agricultural Science Doctoral Program with a GPA of 3.98
After the graduates’ vows were finished, the best graduates were then called together to be inaugurated directly by the Rector of ULM Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc. The event then continued with the inauguration of all graduates by the Dean of each faculty.
“Hopefully the graduates at this 118th graduation ceremony, each of whom has academic and professional skills, will in the future be able to contribute energy and thoughts to the homeland and the nation,” said ULM Rector Prof Dr Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si., when giving a speech at the inauguration of the graduates.
Prof. Ahmad also hopes for the graduates through the knowledge they have gained. Hopefully they will be able to become agents of change who have a positive impact on society and the environment around them, as well as being role models in fighting for the values of truth, justice and goodness.
“We believe that their success will be a reflection of their dedication and hard work so far, as well as being a hope for a better future for the nation and state,” he said.
Apart from that, ULM also continues to strive for innovation and breakthroughs so that ULM can become a Word University.
“We are committed to continuing to improve the standards of education and research at ULM, so that this university can compete globally and become an internationally based center of academic excellence,” he concluded.
