ULM Holds Socialization to Increase Understanding of the Implementation of Procurement of Goods and Services at Lambung Mangkurat University’s BLU Working Unit
Lambung Mangkurat University held a Socialization event to Increase Understanding of the Implementation of Procurement of Goods and Services at the BLU Work Unit of Lambung Mangkurat University on Monday (18/3/2024) at the Senate Meeting Room, 3rd floor of the Rectorate. The event, which presented Harry S. Kusuma Wijaya from the Institute for Improving Government Procurement of Goods and Services as a resource person, was also attended by the Vice Rector II of ULM, the Dean and Deputy Deans at ULM, especially the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, the Head of UPA, and officials at the Rectorate. This event was held in the context of improving the implementation of government procurement of goods and services within Lambung Mangkurat University for the 2024 fiscal year in an efficient, effective and accountable manner. Improving the implementation of government procurement of goods and services is important to increase efficiency, transparency and accountability in managing state finances and to encourage economic growth.
Training and capacity building for personnel involved in the procurement process is essential. They need to understand proper procurement procedures, best practices in contract management, and ethics and integrity in the performance of their duties. Therefore, special attention needs to be paid to the implementation of this socialization so that parties involved in the implementation of goods and services can gain knowledge and insight regarding its implementation.
“There is something we want to consult regarding technical matters involving ULM as (PTN) BLU that needs to be implemented,” said Vice Rector II to the resource person.
It is hoped that the presence of the resource persons this time will bring enlightenment to stakeholders in the Procurement of Goods and Services within Lambung Mangkurat University.
